LAHORE: Pakistan star all-rounder Shahid Afridi is expected to reverse his decision of retirement from ODI after pressure from board officials.
According to a Daily Dunya, Boom Boom is likely to reverse his decision. The issue is important for the officials of the Pakistan Cricket Board as most of the seniors are out of form.
It is pertinent to mention here that skipper Misbah-ul-Haq and Afridi had retired from One-Day-Internationals (ODI) after the Pakistan was knocked out from the tournament after suffering defeat against Australia. Earlier this month Afridi became the first cricketer to take than 395 ODI wickets and score more than 8000 runs, a milestone reached against United Arab Emirates in Napier.
He finishes with extraordinary ODI career strike rate of 117 and his 398 innings have featured six centuries, 39 fifties, and 395 wickets.
