PAKISTANI CELEBRITIES WHO LEFT SHOWBIZ AND BECOME RELIGIOUS

1-SARA CHAUDHRY—MODEL & TV ACTRESS

Sara Chaudhry famous Pakistani actress left showbiz and turned to Islamic scholar. Sara Chaudhry worked in showbiz for 11 years and gained recognition through her excellent acting skills. She acted in many popular Pakistani dramas such as “Tareekian”, “Malangi”, “Din Dhaly”, “Dil Diya Dehleez”, “Tere Pehlu Main”, “Tere janey ke baad etc.

Sara Chaudhry got married with a Dubai based Pakistani businessman Faisal Khan. In an interview with Farah on ATV Sara Chaudhary told that she left showbiz on her own will not because of her husband’s pressure.

2-JUNAID JAMSHED– SINGER

Junaid jamshed is the former vocalist of famous pop band “vital signs”. He also worked as a solo artist for about 8 years. In 2002 he released the last music album of his career “dil ki baat” and left music the same year. All of his music either as a vital sign’s vocalist or as a solo artist proved to be great hits throughout the country. After 2002 J.J left music, concentrating on religion. He also runs a boutique “jay dot” with several branches throughout the country.

3-SATAESH KHAN—ACTOR & MODEL

Sataesh Khan who was previously known as the talented model, singer, and actress of Pakistan as he has left glamour and glitz of showbiz and has reverted towards Islam by changing her life style according to the teachings of Islam. She started to believe that she’s living a life of Kaafir because she is a Muslim only for name. She came to understand the reality of her life during this period where her co-star Mariam Ali and another other guy help out her to find the real herself. Sataeh’s feeling towards Islam started to increase day by day as she was also in contact with Sarah Chaudhry who also played an important part to take close her to Islam.

4-ALI AFZAL —ACTOR & MODEL

Former actor Ali Afzal left Showbiz in 2014 he was in media since 90's he worked in so many dramas and commercials!

5-NARGIS—STAGE ARTIST

Everyone is well acquainted with Nargis, whether they watch stage shows and films or not. After working for 20 years in Lollywood and on stage Nargis has decided to call it quits and turned to be a religious scholar. Nargis called a press conference at her residence in Lahore and told the media that she wanted to leave showbiz for a very long time now but she needed money to pay off some debts and establish her salon so she could not act on her decision earlier.

Actress Model and Host Urooj Nasir left showbiz at peak of her career and started a Muslim ladies scarf brand!

7-Ayaz Khan—Actor

Renowned actor Ayaz Khan also left showbiz and started preaching Islam with actor Ali Afzal !
